Here's the thing:
Your body doesn't want to have to scream at you to get your attention. But it absolutely will if it has to.
It is infinitely better to give yourself space to listen to the whispers that your body is using to try to communicate with you and get your attention than it is to suddenly find yourself in a body that feels foreign and is screaming because that's the only way it knows will grab you.
So, what can a whisper sound like?
Maybe it's a slight shortening of your breath when you're pushing yourself too hard. Maybe it's continuing to be tired when you've had plenty of sleep. Maybe it's tension that just.will.not.soften. Maybe it's none of that.
The way your body communicates will be different to anyone else's. Sure, there might be similarities, but we all need to learn our own language. Or relearn it.
So, are you listening, or are you WILLING to stop and listen? 🥨
